About Me (updated Mar 12 2015)

My name is Brian Cagayat, and I am a San Diego, CA, native currently living in Edmonds, WA, a small town eleven miles north of Seattle. From 2004-2014, I worked for CoStar Group, Inc., the leading online provider of commercial real estate information (and parent company of both LoopNet and Apartments.com). I worked as a market research analyst in their San Diego office (with the title of "Senior Research Associate" from 2012 until my departure). Prior to CoStar, I worked for Barnes & Noble and San Diego State University. I have a BA in English Literature from SDSU (graduated in 2001).

My wife, Monica, and I moved to the Pacific Northwest in September 2014.

I am currently seeking work in the greater Seattle area, preferably in market research, writing, or editing.
